Jilly Beans Wedding!

I cannot tell you how many times my mother has told me that she is so sad that we did not take a picture of us four kids and her at the wedding...maybe she doesn't remember taking the pic because her eyes were closed.

Whit is bootyliscious!!

Raise the roof Linds!!

HEEEEEYYYYY Pat!

Thanks Jill and Steve for giving us the perfect excuse to make fools of ourselves on the dance floor.

Oh Beej!

Starbucks

When I blog, I'm typically at my fave Starbux in Valdosta.  I spend hours up here!  For anyone who is lonely...go to starbux, like three times a week.  There are so many people to watch.  There are the "business meeting" people.  There are the college students doing their homework.  There are the other people who are just farting around on their computer, ipods, phones...doing whatever.

There is always good music.  I just love the atmosphere.  I can chill without feeling like there is a load of laundry to turnover, or a television show to watch, or a closet to clean.  I can just zone out in my own little world.  Sometimes I read, sometimes I play Words with Friends, sometimes I Facebook, but mostly I blog.

The whole reason I'm writing about my beloved Starbucks today is cause of the big change that has taken place.  The dreadlocks barista guy that I see all the time CUT OFF HIS DREADLOCKS!!!  I just don't know how to feel about this!?!  I know that it isn't my hair, I know that I've only spoken about 10 words to him, I know that I shouldn't criticize........but how could he do this?  I loved those dreads!  I mean, they were long and well kept and so good looking.  And now there gone...they are long gone.  I'm talking buzz cut hair now.  Does he feel sad at all about this?  Was this cut something he's been thinking about for a while?  I really don't know the answers to these questions.

May you rest in peace dreadlocks!

Old Creepy House!

There is this really old creepy dilapidated house that I pass by about twice a week in Quitman, GA.  The house is SO cool and I always fantasize about buying it, restoring it, and having a B-E-A-utiful farm house.  Doesn't it look awesome.  It would be a lot of work...I say to myself.  But the work would be worth it in the end.  A vegetable garden in the back.  A few kids outside playing (the fantasy continues).  Sitting on the front porch drinking Kent's margarita's...the kids drinking homemade lemonade.  Parties/barbecues with lit lanterns outside and everyone having fun.....

Beauty!

Work but that's okay,

Love it!

But then I snap quickly back into reality and say to myself....that shit is so haunted...I would never sleep!! Forget it!

Happy Anniversary Nat and Adam!!!!!

I remember that day very clearly...I came straight from Dallas to St. Augustine, FL (One of the 1000 Places).  I was at Whit's 21st birthday party the night before, I may have missed the actual ceremony due to severe hangover, but I'm so glad I was there.  I love you both!!!  The only picture of me there...and it's not a great one.

Happy Birthday Whit and Happy Earth Day!

Happy birthday my Whit Whit, my baby sister!!!   You were born 27 years ago on an Easter Sunday and I had convinced myself that you were gonna be twins...but it was you and you alone.  I remember when you were like this...

You were our little baby.  Lindsay and I used to dress you up like you were our little doll.  You were always so happy when you weren't screaming.  Look at how squinty your eyes were.

I love how Linds is the only one smiling for the camera.  Were we pissing Honeygramma off or what?
I have one word for the above picture...thugs, but damn it was fun.

I love this one.

Check out your ear muffs!

Sweet girl.

Um, Dad...I think you missed.
And now you're a great mom and I love you.  I'm so proud of you and the person you are!!
Happy Birthday!!

Bama!

Bridge flew into Panama City last Saturday and we went straight to Bonefish to meet up with Kent.  I overate, Bridge overdrank...which I love because it only takes one glass of wine for her to start telling me things that I know she wouldn't if she were sober.

The next morning, we started heading to Alabama.  Of course, as soon as we hit the border...I had to find the closest rest area...  Anywayz, our plan was Dreamland Barbecue, Bellingrath Gardens, and then lounging at the pool.

I'm sorry, I couldn't resist the BBQ Nachos!

Then we went to Beliingrath Gardens.
Yes she did!!

Then, some boring old people came up behind us.  They were not thrilled with Bridge "riding the pony".  But their twentyish year old son thought it was amusing!
We had a great time and I knocked out four of the 1000 Places.  I was VERY surprised by how much I enjoyed Alabama.  Very pretty and the Grand Hotel Marriott was so great and relaxing and beautiful.  Definitely worth the trip!!  Next time I actually plan to play at the golf course on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail:)

Kent's 31st Birthday Bash in Boston!

Kent's birthday usually falls on Memorial Day weekend so we usually take a trip to celebrate.  In May of 2010 we decided to Boston!!!!  A place that I happen to LOVE!

I want to start by saying that my husband, Robert Kent Taylor, is the best and here is why...he takes all my 1000 Place pictures without any complaints.  He just goes along with it no matter how annoying it gets...and it gets real annoying sometimes.  He's really great about it.  I try to avoid being mushy when I'm blogging, but I just wanted to raise the roof in Kent's honor on this one.

We got to go to a Red Sox game, some friends took us to some awesome food places, Kent and I actually got to do so much while we were there.  We were pretty exhausted by the end of every day, but it was totally worth it.

A Match Made in Heaven:)

I like to quilt, but try to keep it on the DL.  Two of my besties had babies recently and I made their babies quilts...it's nerdy, old fashioned, and I love doing it.

First came little Matthew...stretch it out Matthew:)

Then came Elizabeth...already an Aggie fan!

Awwwwww Elizabeth...Matthew's blowing kisses despite the fact that you're an Aggie!!

Hotel California!

I had to stop for the night...except it was in Marianna, FL.  It was 2am last Wednesday night and I was tired.

I stopped in the prestigious Country Inn and Suites.  I walked in to the room and went straight to the window/ac unit.  First to check the view and then to crank the air.  On the floor next to the window was a huge stain.  I could only assume that someone was murdered there in that room.  I got ready for bed and laid there for what seemed like forever freaked out that the room was haunted by the murdered person.  Even though common sense should have told me what kind of stain it probably was.  Gag!

Check Out My New Page!!

As I was blogging about the 1000 Places that I've been to, it was brought to my attention that the countdown was getting confusing.  I've now made a page that will have an ongoing countdown of all the places I've checked off my list.

The new page is called Kyle's 1000 Places...and the tab is at the under the title"KyleRhea" and to the right of the "Home" tab.

I will still blog about my trips, but the official countdown will be on that separate page and I will just keep updating it with every trip I go on.

It's All in the Bun!

I've been a nanny for 7 and a half years for the same family and one of the few things I've accomplished that I am VERY proud of is da da da THE BUN!!!!  :)  I have the picture to prove it!!!

I mean seriously...a bun doesn't get any better than that!!  I'm a bun (or bund, as Hope would call it about 5 years ago) professional.

P.S. Don't look at the background of the photo.  I just want to be clear...I am a nanny...not a maid!!

P.P.S.  I'm looking for to the next recital coming up in May.

P.P.P.S.  So is Hope, cause she's gonna have the best bun out of all of her friends.

My Friend Adam...

So Adam thinks I'm in love with him....well I do love him. He's the husband of my bestie, he follows my blog, and he always hooks me up with gluten free food....how can I not love him?

The confusion started when I posted my "Dreams" blog about Will Ferrell.  Obviously, I'm in love with Will Ferrell (like I have said, Kent already knows.)

I have always told Adam that he kind of reminds me of Will Ferrell.  What Adam doesn't understand is that he reminds me of this Will Ferrell...

Not that he has ever streaked before, but he just kind of reminds me of this kind of Will Ferrell.

But remember, I'm in love with this Will Ferrell
