Buttermilk Baby

As a child, I vividly remember asking for a class of milk or asking for a sip of my dad's milk, then taking a huge swig and the suddenly realizing that it was buttermilk.  Over the holidays, my sisters and I decided to return the favor to my niece, Reese.  The photos that follow are what happened.

Omaha....Somewhere in middle America!!

So finally it was girls trip weekend.....WOOT WEWT!!

Oh, it's on my 6 year wedding anniversary.....no prob!!

Did you say we're going to Nebraska...okay, sign me up!!

As long as I can check the two things off my list:)

So here's how it went down.  I went with Katie and Brandi to visit Nat in Nebraska.  By the way, I love visiting there.  The cold weather, the cattle farms, and lots of fun.  The problem is that I tend to do really dumb things when around friends and this trip was no exception. For example,

#1  When I was driving the brand new farm truck, I decided to start singing "Dirt Road Anthem" while I was actually turning on a dirt road, so I gave the truck a little gas.....BIG MISTAKE because I lost control of the truck a little and almost skidded into another farm truck that was on the dirt road.  I think I almost peed my pants in fear....Drew actually did pee his pants...it was his truck after all.

#2  Dancing to "Come on ride the train" on hay bails and almost peeing my pants from laughing too hard.

#3 Wishing I had wet my pants in the following picture....but sadly I fell into someone else's barf.  Look how clean that pavement is except for the puddle under me. God, that was so gross!

No guys, don't help me or make sure I'm okay....get the camera!!

#4 Over the course of the weekend we spilled about 7 drinks, three of which were my fault.

So I knocked two Places of the list.

54.  Omaha Steaks

Instead of just eating the Omaha Steaks, we decided to have a "steak off".  Adam always brags on how good his steaks are and that they are WAY better than Omaha Steaks.  Adam grilled both steaks and served them.  We all tried both kinds and all of us voted for his steaks.  I mean they were leagues better than Omaha Steaks.  

I mean it's obvious which one is better!!

55.  Henry Doorly Zoo

Picture still to come.  So this zoo is really awesome.  They have this dark creepy swampy area which could be really cool, except when your friends leave you...in the dark....where all the gators are...and you can't find your way out, cause it's dark, and you can't see anything, and it's scary.....they are so mean!

Taking Down the Christmas Tree!!

I was blessed this year by being able to take down the Christmas tree at work all by myself on Sunday.  Two things....1. The whole thing tipped over and water (nasty water) went everywhere. 2. There was a lizard living in it.  Fun times!!

Hunger Games...

Okay, so I finished my first book of the year.  I have been told by many that they love this book and I'll admit that it is REALLY good.  I could not stop turning the pages.  Great story, but here's the thing...books like this really piss me off.  I don't consider this a complete book.  The story doesn't end.

All it makes me want to do is hurry up and read the next one....
